This attractive panel is dated between 17th/18th Century, it's pictorial characteristics  and palette belong to Alessando Grevenbroeck and his pupils. A Dutch master probably born in Italy where his father Jan I Van Grevenbroeck resided, we have news about him in Venice around 1717 and in S. Petersburg in the court of Peter the Great around 1720.

This charming "Capriccio" has many elements in common with three paintings by Alessandro Grevenbroeck at the Museo Civico of Padua, published in  “Ponentini e Foresti” Pittura Europea nei Musei Civici di Padova, pg. 91, 92 e 93.
